Roof Standards That Reach New Heights
|
- Every Sioux Steel commercial roof is engineered to support in excess
of 10,000 lbs at center collar. That's almost 6,000 pounds over most
competitor's standards.
- Conveyors, spouting, as well as wind, snow, and ice create a variety
of loads on a commercial roof. We stress test our roof trusses and offset
purlin placement to ensure stability under pressure without compromising
the structures weight. Combine this with our deep rib roof panels and you
have unparalleled performance against the elements.
- Sioux Steel commercial bin roof system incorporates three roof panels
per sidewall sheet. This design means 25% fewer roof panels to assemble
than those using four panels per sidewall sheet and lower assembly cost
for you.

Sidewall Strength That Retains The Lead
|
- Sioux Commercial sidewalls are manufactured from 65,000-PSI tensile
strength steel.
- Sidewalls are secured using Grade 8 bolts with galvanized plating,
self sealing washers, and are further protected by a dichromate finish.
- Wide corrugation creates 25% fewer sidewall sheets to bolt together,
25% fewer nuts and bolts, less vertical wall pressure, and lower erection
costs.
- Wind rings are mandatory on larger bins. The taller the bin, the more
rings required. Sioux Steel uses heavy-duty rings and clamps to securely
attach the rings to the bin sidewall.
